Sr. High Youth Ministry
Sunday Mornings
Join us for biblical teaching relevant to you youth's everyday life. Through sharing, praying, and studying the Bible, the youth build real relationships with each other, the adult leaders, and God. We meet from 10:10 to 11:10 a.m. in the Youth Center.
Wednesday Nights
From October to March, during our Wednesday Community Nights, come hang out from 6:45 to 7 p.m. in the Youth Center. From 7 to 8 p.m., join us for a time of interactive learning through teaching, sharing, discussions, and prayer. The first Wednesday of each month is a gym night.
Service Projects, Retreats & Activities
Throughout the year, we participate in a variety of service projects, including a week-long service project, a work weekend at Spruce Lake Camp, and volunteering at church outreach events and in the Children's Ministry. Yearly retreats and monthly activities keep our youth connected and energized!
Youth Mentor Program
Youth are invited to choose an adult from the congregation to be a mentor for them throughout their high school years. This adult builds a special connection to the youth, to encourage them spiritually and to walk beside them as a role model.
Baptism/Membership Classes
Baptism classes are offered by the Youth Pastor for youth interested in baptism and exploring membership at SMC. The topics discussed include the basics of Christian faith, the Bible, the Anabaptist faith, and the impact of being a follower of Jesus Christ in daily life.
